Forex Links

Some of the best forex links on the web

If you're thinking of blowing your hard earned dosh on what appears to be a fantastic forex system ... DON'T DO IT! Most of them are utter utter utter crap. Always google the system that whets your appetite (or the creators name) - you'll often find some honest forum postings that could save you a lot of money.

check http://www.forexbastards.com/ (now Peacearmy) for starters.

Here are a few useful links - mostly free stuff, or excellent value for money (not in any order of preference):-

http://www.forexfactory.com/index.php?page=calendar - don't underestimate the importance of the news.

http://www.mjbraun.net/ - absolutely top bloke. Sign up for his free periodic updates.

http://www.babypips.com/ - a good place to start

http://www.cot-futures.com/cot/index.htm - if you want to know what the 'big dogs' are up to.

http://www.chartpatterns.com/ - speaks for itself

http://www.forex-tsd.com/documentation/2389-tons-trading-books-some-forex-ones.html - for free ebooks (you might need to be a TSD member for this - not sure, check it out)

http://www.timeticker.com/main.htm - what time is it somewhere in the world
http://zonetick.com/ - useful little prog for displaying different time zones in your task bar

Highly rated free charting packages:-

Metatrader - excellent with loads of add-ons to be found every where
http://www.metaquotes.net/
http://www.lightpatch.com/forex/mt_yahoo/
http://www.metatradertools.com/
also see http://www.forex-tsd.com/ - excellent forum

IT-Finance - probably the clearest of all charting packages with some useful indicators
http://www.cbfx.com/charts/chartsDemo.htm

And finally, we all need a trading plan:

With so much free stuff everywhere, the only investment you should make in your Forex trading is your time (apart from the odd exception mentioned above) ... keep your dosh for trading. I know, I've learned the hard way.

Very useful site - completely agree with you about not wasting money on scammer systems. Who is Neil Pace?
